Today, we celebrate the incredible contributions of interns everywhere. Your fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and dedication are invaluable to our teams and the future of our industries. We wanted to highlight our own marketing summer intern, Cameron Glass, by asking him to share his insight about being part of our team this summer. “Being a part of the Industrial Tools and Attachments marketing team has been an experience that I am beyond grateful for. I have been able to gather hands-on experience working with vendors to ensure marketing material has been shipped for tradeshows or working cross-functionally with other teams to ensure product documents are updated with the correct branding. Experiences like these, I have not captured in the classroom. I am pleased that I am part of a well-organized and efficient workplace. I wanted to thank the marketing and pricing team for helping me feel important and valued while having the patience to stop and take advantage of teaching opportunities.” Thank you, Cameron it’s been wonderful having you as part of the marketing team this summer. We wish you, and all the summer interns the best of luck in your future! #NationalInternDay #Marketing #Thankful #LaBounty #Paladin #STANLEY #Pengo

Did you know that 70% of companies believe internships are a critical way to find future full-time employees? 🌟 As a past intern turned business owner I cannot agree more!Today, I'm thrilled to introduce our incredible new summer interns! 🎉 Watching fresh faces step onto our team with enthusiasm and innovative ideas is always a highlight of the job. We had over 50 applicants this semester and these six bright minds bring new perspectives that challenge us to think differently and push boundaries.Meet Noah Pelo, Angel Decker, Kiernan Dunn, Zac Doggett, Riley Mortenson, and Sydney Harrison – six individuals who have already started making waves in their few weeks. We have four different internship tracks this summer. Producing, Video Production, Post Production, and Sales. Why are internships this important? Because recognizing creative potential and educating about the real world of production for our interns not only boosts their confidence but also shines a light on the future they could hold. When we uplift others, we create a ripple effect that benefits everyone in our network.Let's give a big round of applause to these six! 👏 I'm excited to share how they are making a difference throughout their internship, and we can't wait to see what you accomplish this summer. I can't go without thanking our amazing team that interviewed and made the tough decisions with so many applicants. Big shoutout to Megan Walker-Young, MBA, MSML, Alise King, Mariah Salazar, Becca Hofmann, and Lacey Duncan! If you know someone that would benefit with an internship at BW Productions let me know! Our Fall internship cohort applications will be going live in July and we want the very best to be a part of our program.#WelcomeInterns #CelebrateSuccess #FutureLeaders #VideoProduction #SmallBusiness

When I look back at my time as a student, the most growth came from internships. Theory only takes you so far. Internships were a way for me to apply what I was learning. Theory Concepts Frameworks Principles They helped build my foundational understanding of marketing and business. But internships allowed me to learn in a real and tangible way. When I was in college, I did three internships. 1) SALES for a small distribution company. Basically I had to convince grocery stores to buy more kool-aid and country time lemonade in my territory. 🤑 2) Product MARKETING for Hunter Douglas, Inc. They are a medium-sized manufacturer of window treatments. I helped do market and customer research ahead of launching a new product. 🤓 3) TRAINING under the HR department of Alcatel-Lucent I helped organize training materials for their 10K+ employees and even delivered two training classes to seasoned professionals about communication skills. 😄 Each internship taught me something different about myself, how business works, and gave me an opportunity to build real business skills. In the end, I chose a career in Marketing. But I'm doing all of these roles now at SHAKE Marketing! Sales, Marketing and Training. Funny how life comes full circle! P.S. Today is national Intern day >> Invest in growing the leaders of tomorrow! 👉 How did you get started in marketing? #marketingcareer #nationalinternday

I have posted a lot of content to raise awareness about the #internshipshortage that is really affecting our university students.I am proud that pigybak is bringing on our first interns for the summer to support their growth and development while also expanding our team's capacity, something that is very needed! Please join me in welcoming...Zeel Modi - Business Development Intern, Cleveland StateIsaiah L. - Product Management Intern, Cleveland StateMadison Kellier - Marketing Intern, Case WesternWith their diverse backgrounds and energy, I am excited for the impact they will be making in our small but mighty organization. We will be officially onboarding next week with an all hands call and locking in our schedules. Special thanks to the Greater Cleveland Partnership for their internship program which involves funding founders like me. In addition, thank you to LaunchNET Baldwin Wallace University, SeaChange, and the Burton D. Morgan Foundation for the award of a follow on grant which will make sure to provide our interns with the resources to make an impact! Some quick tips for onboarding interns from back when I lead the Co-Op program at Philips:-Understand what each individual would like to get out of the program. It may not be the exact role and responsibility you had in mind, so be flexible. For example, Zeel will also be supporting me in my financial model development.1. Set clear roles and responsibilities ahead along with deliverables. RACI charts are gold2. Set a meeting cadence and communication plan to support them3. Just from a house keeping point of view, have offer letters, NDAs, and an onboarding document that outlines key resources and systems they'll need.Have you supported summer interns in the past? What are your best tips?#startuplife#founder

I’m coming up on celebrating a year at Scott Clark Toyota and lately, I’ve had a chance to reflect on how much this job has changed the direction of my career. When I started here, I felt (as most of us have, I’m sure) like I was over my head. For my first assigned task, I had to vectorize a logo in Adobe Illustrator. Not only had I never used the software before, but I didn’t even know what “vectorizing” ANYTHING meant. The Scott Clark team was patient with me. They allowed me to learn the software in my way, and then expand from there. I was able to work on projects like scottclarkscale.com and learn additional tools and skills through encouragement from my team to continue honing my craft. Through becoming a mentor in the SCALE internship program I learned that one of the best ways to grow is by teaching others. Because as much as I worked with and taught the SCALE interns, they taught me so much more. So, to celebrate my time at Scott Clark, I have compiled a list of some of my favorite lessons from the past year:💡 You can be an Adobe Illustrator person or an Adobe Photoshop person, but the best way to implement the software is by using them side by side (personal opinion).🤝 Every hand you shake is a connection, and every meeting is the beginning of a partnership.🌐 Innovation and adaptation can be learned (and taught!).💫 Educators have it HARD. Becoming a mentor gave me a newfound appreciation for the passion that drives my past instructors.👉 Soft skills, soft skills, soft skills!😆 “You’re cooked” is not a compliment (new slang courtesy of the interns).💥 Becoming a lifelong learner is SO important and keeps you relevant in your field. 📖 Business professionals & industry leaders want to share their knowledge! Something as simple as a LinkedIn message can go a long way. 💪 Learning new skills can be daunting, but mastering those skills is incredibly rewarding. 🎉 A supportive team makes all the difference. The past 12 months have marked a year of significant personal and professional growth for me, and I am so grateful for the role Scott Clark has played in that!
